London Stock Exchange celebrate Cenkos 10 year anniversary

Cenkos Securities Plc is an independent, specialist institutional securities group, focused on small and mid-cap companies and investment funds. We were formed by senior specialist equity market teams across the City and we are delighted to be celebrating our 10th anniversary. We have over the past ten years established a successful platform that has been profitable in every year of its existence and delivered strong returns to shareholders.

We are rated as one of the leading brokers in London for growth companies and have raised a total of over £13 billion for our clients - mainly acting as sole broker - from when we first opened for business to the end of December 2014. Fund raisings have varied in size from under £1 million to over £1 billion and in 2014 we helped our clients raise around 15% of all funds raised on AIM. Our doors are always open to any companies who wish to discuss their capital needs.

We provide corporate finance, corporate broking and securities services to small and mid-cap growth companies and increasingly larger companies, across a wide range of industry sectors, as well as investment funds. We focus on advising companies that seek admission of their shares to trading on AIM or the LSE’s main market, or companies that are already listed on those markets. For growing companies that require access to capital and international exposure, AIM's flexibility, with its Nomad arrangements, provides a firm foundation for financing and corporate development. We offer our clients advice and access to equity finance at all stages of their development.

As at 31 December 2014 we were Nominated Adviser, broker or financial adviser to 130 companies or trusts. Our profit before tax for the year to 31 December 2014 was £27.0 million on revenues of £88.5 million, and our post tax return on equity was 60%. Since our flotation on AIM in October 2006 we have returned £76.4 million of cash to our shareholders – equivalent to 118p per share (before 2014’s final dividend of 10p).
