London Stock Exchange today welcomed RBC Capital Markets and GreatOrmondStreetHospital.

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has a long-standing commitment to improving children's health in its local communities. Its partnership with GreatOrmondStreetHospital as the title sponsor for RBC Race for the Kids 5km family run is part of that commitment. RBC have a close working relationship with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, which has been extremely productive and successful.

GreatOrmondStreetHospital is a world-renowned children's hospital and research facility that undertakes essential work for the health and well-being of children in the United Kingdom and around the world.

Over the course of the last few months RBC has been engaged in wide-ranging fundraising activity which culminated in Sunday’s RBC Race for the Kids.

In its 1st year, there were 1,500 runners and it has kept on growing each and every year to reach 6,000 runners and walkers on Sunday, with 1,275 staff, friends and family participating from across Royal Bank of Canada, raising £250,000.
