Women in ETFs welcomed at London Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange warmly welcomed Women in ETFs (WE), the first women’s group for the ETF industry, to open trading on London's financial markets this morning.

This marked the third bell ringing ceremony for WE in March 2015, as WE representatives are present and travel across the world to participate in dedicated ceremonies in nine different stock exchanges, in honour of International Women’s Day celebrated annually on March 8th.

The organisation seeks to create opportunities for professional advancement by expanding connections among women in the ETF industry, offer guidance for the current and next generation of women in ETFs and provide forums for education and idea sharing across the industry.
