How to transaction report Nasdaq OMX NLX trades

Trading on the Nasdaq OMX NLX went live on 31 May 2013. Whilst the derivative contracts are primarily interest rate, the Long Gilt, Bund, Bobl and Schatz based contracts will be reportable as the value of these derivatives is derived from a basket of debt instruments that are all issued by the same issuer.

We understand that these contracts should be reported to the FCA as OTC derivatives – i.e. the instrument identifier should be blank and the trading venue should be ‘XXXX’ (and other fields should be populated as per TRUP). We understand that the CCP is LCH (BIC: LCHLGB2EXXX).

We are endeavouring to find more information and will provide it once we have it.  For further information, please contact the FCA at tmu@fca.org.uk.
