LSEG’s Climate Management Ambition and Performance “MAP” launched in Workspace
LSEG announces the launch of Climate MAP, a unique framework to enhance discoverability of the most important Climate KPIs in LSEG Workspace, to help customers navigate the complexity of the climate transition on their business and portfolios.
This framework benefits our key customer communities of:
- Asset managers and owners, investing in and managing risks relating to climate opportunities
- Banks, financing the transition to a net-zero economy
- Corporates, transitioning to net-zero
Our comprehensive Climate MAP data covers three core pillars:
- Management: companies’ governance of their transition to net-zero
- Ambition: companies’ commitments and future ambition towards decarbonisation
- Performance: companies’ actual performance towards climate change targets
Julien Blanc, Head of Climate at LSEG said: “To transition to a low-carbon economy, you need to be able to measure and decarbonise your portfolios, identify climate risks and opportunities to demonstrate positive impact, position your company against competitors and comply with confidence as reporting is becoming mandatory and expanding globally. With a strong commitment to the fusion of sustainability and finance, LSEG has launched Climate MAP to help clients achieve all the above objectives, supporting their journeys to drive sustainable growth and climate agendas.”
