Spreads trading launched on LSEG Workspace’s Trade App
Trade App – the app that allows seamless end-to-end trade execution in Workspace, now supports the execution of spreads for the first time.
Version 2.2 of the app enables users to select and trade listed spread instruments directly from Workspace, along with existing global equities and futures trading capabilities.
Additionally, new features include a spread preview panel that shows each outright leg, along with the traded side within a multi-part trade. A pop-up will also confirm the leg to provide users with confidence in their trading activity.
Outside of spread trading support, the update introduces several enhancements that will help improve the overall user experience.
“We don’t stand still at LSEG,” said LSEG Head of Workflows Content and Partnerships, Holden Sibley. “Every Workspace update provides meaningful functionality and user experience improvements so that our customers can do more, quickly and intelligently.”
Trade App is an execution management application that enables clients to place and monitor orders to brokers electronically, directly within the single environment of LSEG Workspace. It brings together the strengths of two well-established execution management systems (LSEG TORA and LSEG REDI), each with over two decades of industry experience and a mature client base. Within the Trade App, clients also have access to powerful compliance tools and can leverage existing connectivity to brokers via the LSEG Autex Trade Route (ATR).
