Benchmark Rates

Reference rates that lie at the heart of the global financial system.

FX and Interest Rate Benchmarks

For more than a quarter of a century, we have been designing, calculating, governing, and publishing the financial benchmarks that lie at the heart of the global financial system.

  • Our WMR FX Benchmark is the industry standard, trusted by over 1,000 financial institutions to deliver the market’s broadest coverage, with both intraday and closing spot rates, forward rates, and NDFs.
  • Our Interest Rate Benchmarks cover 30 critical national and regional interest rates and FX benchmarks in 12 different countries, such as Singapore and Hong Kong. Interest rate benchmarks include the FTSE USD IBOR Cash Fallbacks, the Alternative Reference Rates Committee’s (ARRC) recommended fallback rates to support the market’s transition from USD LIBOR, as well as FTSE Term Sonia to support the industry’s transition from GBP LIBOR, and FTSE Term €STR a forward-looking, risk-free reference rate denominated in euros. Additionally, we work with regulators and central banks around the globe, serving as calculation agent to another 40+ global rates.
