The FTSE Green Revenues Index Series is designed to reflect the performance of global companies engaged in the transition to a green economy, based on FTSE Russell’s Green Revenues data model. The indices are designed to capture changes in the revenue mix of companies from their green goods, products and services. Capturing these shifts allows investors to quantify the pace and scale of a company’s transition to the green economy.
The FTSE Green Revenues Select Infrastructure and Industrials Index measures the performance of global companies in the industrials, utilities and basic materials sectors that generate at least 40% of their company revenues from eligible green infrastructure and industrials solutions.
The Russell 1000 Green Revenues 50 Index measures the performance of large-cap companies in the US engaged in the transition to a green economy, comprising of the top 50 constituents from the Russell 1000 Index ranked by industry deemed Green Revenues percentage.
