The Russell 2000 Dividend Index represents the total dividends paid by the stocks of companies included in the Russell 2000 Index. The index is designed to measure equity performance independent of stock price changes, and it can be used as the basis for index-linked financial products such derivatives. The index resets annually to zero at the December review.
