The FTSE Sustainability-Linked Bond Index Series is designed to measure the performance of global Sustainability-Linked Bonds (SLBs), which are aligned with International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles (SLBP).

Sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs) are general-purpose bonds whose structure and returns are linked to the achievement of pre-defined sustainability outcomes. They can help investors to integrate impact investing into their fixed income portfolio strategies. SLBs are a forward-looking performance-based instrument.

FTSE Sustainability-Linked Bond Index consists of the below variants based on the underlying index:

  • FTSE Global Sustainability-Linked Bond 0+ Year Index (Global SLB)
  • FTSE World Broad Investment-Grade Sustainability-Linked Bond 0+ Year Index (WorldBIG SLB)
  • FTSE Euro Broad Investment-Grade Sustainability-Linked Bond 0+ Year Index (EuroBIG SLB)
  • FTSE US Broad Investment-Grade Sustainability-Linked Bond 0+ Year Index (USBIG SLB)
