Refinitiv and Sberbank Private Banking to deploy automated advisory solution serving investment managers 

The solution called “Advisory” will facilitate the automatization of investment portfolio management in accordance with compliance regulations and policies

March 7, 2019 – Refinitiv, formerly the Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk business, and Sberbank Private Banking, a division of Sberbank, announced that a new automated and customized advisory solution will be deployed to service investment portfolio managers.

The solution branded as “Advisory” will be powered by Refinitiv pricing data and features several analytical tools aimed at digitizing the investment process. It enables Sberbank Private Banking to extend an advisory service that takes into account the clients’ individual investment preferences. The new solution allows Sberbank Private Banking to effectively manage client portfolios and enables investment consultants to carry out a wide range of analytical work based on various portfolio behavior scenarios.

The first stage of deployment, set to take place mid- 2019, allows investment managers to analyze client portfolios and offer bank customers a new approach to develop an individual strategy. Advisory offers test capabilities as well as portfolio benchmarking and rebalancing. Next year and upon full deployment, the solution will enable clients to manage the full cycle of their investment portfolio management process including decision making.
