Standard DACS Training

This course will enable customers to understand how to use the administrative features of Data Access Control System (DACS) version7.x and to manage exchange fee costs by controlling access to data on Refinitiv Real Time Distribution System (RTDS, formerly TREP).

At the end of this course delegates will be able to:

• Describe the concepts and operation of DACS
• Understand the enhancements with the latest versions of DACS version 7.x
• Permission users for access to RTDS services
• Perform maintenance tasks on DACS including map collect
• Use DACS 7.x to add and amend users, permission products, exchanges, and specialist subservices
• Generate DACS Reports
• Use advanced DACS features such as DACS On Demand and Eikon/Workspace Sync 

Duration

2 day course (typically split into 4 x 0.5 day remote sessions)

Each additional delegate (up to 6 participants in a session): 850 EUR / 750 GBP / 810 CHF

Customised DACS Training

Standard DACS training plus custom features:

1. Available for 3 - 6 delegates
2. Access to DACS expert for additional days (number of days to be determined based on needs)
3. DACS training on a customized DACS DB created on the basis of existing client DACS (prior analysis of client’s DACS DB is needed). This allows admin users to apply the knowledge from the training in the context of their actual DACS use cases.
4. Prolonged (to be determined based on needs) access to AWS DACS training environment

Customized training is not an auditing process. It provides a review of the client configuration and recommendations are offered based on the DACS best practices. Client is always responsible for the configuration of their DACS system.

Duration

Minimum 2 days to cover the material of Standard DACS training. Additional time to be added based on the training needs.
