The FTSE Women on Boards Leadership Index Series is designed to integrate considerations of gender diversity into a broad market benchmark. These indices increase exposure to companies based on their level of diversity at the board level and social policies. This is achieved as constituent weightings (or stock weight adjustment) are based on the proportion of female board members relative to the industry average and a company's social policies.
